Special Juices

War is a necessary evil that can not be avoided.

The war that i think describes our definition is the American Civil War. A quote i found that fits our definition is, "War is a hellish way to settle a disagreement" (source unknown). Another fact is some historians agrue that the war was not necessary but arrogant extremists and politics got in the way and the war became necessary (www.us-civilwar.com). A third fact is the American people could not resolve any issues and always had conflict when territory was being distributed. Small battles took place prior to the war and some men were killed but all of this lead up to the war (www.us-civilwar.com). Derek

World War II fits our group definition in many ways.
1)America stayed out of it until they had to do something, after Pearl Harbor.
2) On August 27th, 1942, Russia had to fight to keep their city of Stalingrad.
3) Two atomic bombs were set off, this was done to make the Japanese surrender.
